An Old Testament Learning Opportunity, From Sept 12th to
October 17 6:30 - 8:00 pm | Gathering Room
What am I supposed to be getting out of the Old Testament? How is Adam connected to Abraham, or David to Daniel? What is a psalm, and what is a proverb? What is the difference between a minor prophet and a major one? And why does God seem so different in the beginning of the Bible? Join us, every Thursday, from September 12th to October 17th to learn more about how the Old Testament fits together, and what it means for us today. We will meet to eat and share fellowship at 6:30 p.m. and will learn from 7 to 8 p.m.
Don’t worry–each class will contain a spiritual practice and something fun, and only a little bit of Rev. Ben lecturing. And you don’t need to attend every class to enjoy the ones you can make it to.
